{Sustainable} Style WSNC
{Sustainable} Style WSNC’s mission is to emphasize that one needn’t sacrifice style to live sustainably. A collaboration between Wake Forest University and Fashion Designer Jenny Hwa of loyale, the first ever {Sustainable} Style WSNC show was held at Wake Forest on April 6, 2010 to great success. {Sustainable}Style WSNC – April 6, 2010, 7-9pm
Eco-fashion designer Jenny Hwa of loyale is partnering with the Office of Sustainability to bring a one-of-a-kind eco-apparel runway show to campus. The show, {Sustainable} Style WSNC, will highlight eco-designers who are crafting the chicest eco-apparel and making the choice of dressing sustainably easy.
Since our March 5th story, the list of participating designers has grown to include loyale, Same Underneath, John Patrick Organic, Stewart+Brown, Bodkin, Lara Miller, Loup Charmant, Perfectly Imperfect, Sublet Clothing, SustainU, and Frei. We’re also excited to include designer Molly Dingledine’s nature-inspired jewelry in the show. Pieces from Molly’s collection as well as the loyale line will be available for purchase after the show.
