Reduce waste with University Stores

This year students will notice a few changes at the University Stores – and we think they’ll like what they see.

University Stores is launching a new program, in partnership with Office Depot and HP called Recycle and Rewards. Students who are used to carrying their books away from the book store in brown paper bags will appreciate the new sturdy-handled re-usable shopping bags they will receive this year.

Here’s how it works:

• Buy your books at the textbook store in Taylor Hall

• Take your books home in the easy-to-carry reusable bag

• Use the bag during the semester for all your shopping needs

• Bring the bag  to the Bookstore, Deacon Shop on campus, The Deacon Shop in Reynolda Village, or The Deacon Shop in Hanes Mall and receive a 10% discount on as much WFU logoed merchandise, office supplies with recycled content, or trade books as you can fit in the bag*

• Return your bag to the textbook store during the buyback period of exam week and get a $1.00 back

• Come back the following semester and get a new bag for all new discounts!

*The discount does not apply to special orders, Ringmaster jewelry, textbooks, and clearance merchandise and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.
