Wake Forest will be celebrating Earth Month from March 30 – April 30, and we invite the entire community to get involved!
Earth Month is a time to renew our connection to the earth with events, experiences, and celebrations that engage and connect our campus community. Students, organizations, and departments can submit programs for consideration to be included on the Earth Month calendar. The deadline for submissions is February 28.
2024’s Earth Month program included trail cleanups, film screenings, clothing exchanges, and so much more! In addition to community-organized programs, the Office of Sustainability will host four signature events throughout Earth Month.
Our Earth Month kick-off will begin on March 30 with our Spring Equinox celebration in the Campus Garden. Following, students will lead presentations on sustainability topics during Earth Talks on April 9. We will celebrate Arbor Day and beautify a patch of campus together on April 25. And, to conclude the month we will honor leaders of sustainability change during our Champions of Change Awards on April 30.
Earth Month will be full of programs and events that spark your curiosity, connect you to your community, and honor our connection to earth. We look forward to celebrating Earth Month with you all this spring!
