Call for Proposals: Earth Talks 2025
Are you passionate about sustainability? Submit a proposal to present at the fifth annual Earth Talks on April 9.
Earth Talks is a series of short, student-led presentations that are focused on sustainability topics. Each talk is led by a Wake Forest student or group of students who are eager to share their knowledge, passions, or research with others in the Wake Forest community. Suggested topics include climate change, environmental justice, biodiversity, energy, community issues, food, waste, leadership and behavior change, and more. Most importantly, you do not need to be an expert to present; everyone is welcome to be part of this sharing community.
Proposals are due by 11:59pm on Tuesday, February 18.
By being a part of Earth Talks you get to:
- Share your interests and passions with your peers
- Start a conversation on campus
- Meet others who have similar interests in sustainability
- Improve your public speaking skills in a nonjudgmental setting
- Receive individualized guidance from OoS staff to create an effective and engaging presentation
Earth Talks 2025 will take place on Wednesday, April 9 from 5:00 – 6:30pm.
