- August 24: Dig In at the Campus Garden
- September 2: Fall Involvement Fair
- September 4: Let’s Taco-Bout Sustainability
Tips for a Sustainable Move-In
As you prepare to move to your new home in just a few weeks, check out these quick tips for a sustainable move-in. As fellow Deacs, we live and breathe our values of making the world a better place for all of its inhabitants. After all, without Pro Humanitate, there’s no humanitate!

Getting Around
Fun fact: the vast majority of first-year students don’t bring a car with them. Before you register for a parking pass, remember that Wake has a very walkable campus, along with a robust shuttle system that connects you to many locations off campus. Check out the alternative transportation options on and around campus.
Staying in the Loop
Join our mailing list and follow us on social media (@sustainableWFU) to learn about additional opportunities and events, including volunteer hours in the Campus Garden, our Sustainability Ambassadors program, and more. And for a comprehensive look at just how much sustainability plays a role at Wake Forest, check out our website.
On behalf of the entire Office of Sustainability team, we can’t wait to welcome you to Wake Forest this August as we work together. Remember: no one person can transform a campus, much less the world. It Takes a Forest.
Go Deacs!
