Internships and Assistantships

The Office of Sustainability offers semester and year-long paid internships and assistantships to Wake Forest University undergraduate students. The call for applications is put out twice each year: typically once toward the end of the fall semester and once toward the end of the spring semester. The type of internships and assistantships available varies depending on the needs of the campus and our collective sustainability goals. Greeks Go Green

Greeks Go Green is a peer-to-peer program that empowers student representatives from social and service organizations to engage members of their chapters in sustainable initiatives and practices. Greeks Go Green was founded in the spring of 2011 as an opportunity for students to become peer educators and leaders within their chapters.

Sustainability Ambassadors

Sustainability Ambassadors are student peer educators for sustainability. The mission of the Sustainability Ambassadors program is to support the development of sustainable behaviors among the student population at Wake Forest University. Training occurs in the form of a two-credit undergraduate course: ENV 301A – Leadership for Sustainability.
