| Spring is just around the corner! Join us for Connect & Cultivate volunteer hours at the Campus Garden on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-6pm and Sundays from 3-4pm starting March 4th. Spend an hour in the garden learning new skills, meeting new people, and enjoying some fresh air. Sign up on GivePulse or simply show up at the Campus Garden, located at 1141 Polo Road! Make sure to wear close-toed shoes. While it has been chilly and the garden has spent some time under a layer of snow this winter, we have been busy preparing for another growing season. Small seedlings are filling up our trays waiting to be planted as the weather warms up! In a week or two, seeds like peas, beets, and radishes will be sown directly into the soil in hopes of some early spring produce to bring to Campus Kitchen. We are looking forward to starting Connect & Cultivate hours next week and continuing to work with students, faculty, and staff in the Campus Garden! |
