Fall 2025 Career Development Opportunities with the Office of Sustainability
The Office of Sustainability aims to equip students to lead lives and careers with impact. We prepare students for a changing world – and workforce – by connecting them to the experts, alumni, and resources that allow them to thrive.
This fall semester, we’re offering two opportunities for students to kickstart their career prep journey and connect with alumni who once walked in their shoes.
For those seeking their next best step toward a career with impact, we regularly partner with the Office of Civic and Community Engagement to offer a Sustainability and Social Impact Careers Workshop. This fall’s workshop will take place on Wednesday, October 29. The workshop will cover frameworks for career planning and job searching, tips and resources, and the importance of networking. All students are invited to attend and ask questions!
Following this workshop, we are hosting the first of our Virtual Sustainability Career Networking sessions on Wednesday, November 12. This networking event will feature several rounds of moderated breakout sessions based on areas of interest and expertise. This is an opportunity for WFU alumni working in sustainability to connect with one another and with current students pursuing careers in sustainability. Current WFU students will have the chance to build connections and learn more about jobs and internships in their desired field.
Connect with others and learn more about jobs and internships in your desired fields when you join us for our career prep events. You can learn more about career development with the Office of Sustainability on our webpage. We hope you join us for these upcoming opportunities!
